What really makes me angry is when people say, your BMI is 14 something, you have anorexia- obviously you know you’re not fat and you just call yourself fat and post photos of yourself for attention.
This is what I see when I look in the mirror. I know that according to medical professionals, I am severely severely underweight and malnurished. But when I see my relfection or photos of myself, I just see this giant, fat, obese version of me.
That is what my body truly believes is true.
I’ve said this before but I’ll say it again: It’s hard to believe that I’m not fat when I can see my fat self in the mirror.
It’s hard to convince me that the sky is purple when I look up and all I see is blue.
